Organize Your Craft Supplies

Turkey

To make this cute Turkey I used the Cricut Artiste Cartridge from Close To My Heart. I cut the turkey image out found on page 78 at 5 1/2". Then I cut out different rosettes from page 50 at these sizes: 1", 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/4", 2 1/2" and another at 2 1/4". I placed these in the order from the front to the back of the turkey. I also cut out 10 circles at 1 1/2" using the circle image found on page 48. I folded each circle in half and then glued five folded circle together at their sides to form a sort of accordion like half 3D circle. Glue each open end to the round belly part of the turkey to give it some shape. I also took some red paper from an extra rosette (page 50, the yellow rosette shown under "card") and used it for its throat. Adding Color to Your Crafts

I just finished this fun advent calendar! It is a Workshop on the Go Advent Calendar Kit (G1044). It was really easy to make. My son is looking forward to opening all of the boxes in December! I think I will have to make more boxes and have fun countdowns to holidays, birthdays and the last day of school.
